New President and Vice-President Elected
During its 23rd Annual General Meeting, held from the 27th to the 29th of October 2008 in Iguazú, Argentina, the ITGA’s new Vice-President was elected.
The Argentinean Mr. Jorge Nestor, President of the Cooperativa Tabacalera de Misiones will act as the ITGA’s Vice-President for a two year period.
Obeying the organisation’s statues, Roger Quarles (Burley Tobacco Cooperative Association, Kentucky, USA) who has held the Vice-Presidency for the past two years, was formally announced President of the ITGA, a position he will hold for the next two years.
